· Please note, there will be no refunds on entry fees due to purchasing crawfish.

General Rules:

1. Team – Name your team.
2. Cooking Area – Each team is assigned a cooking station with access to water and power (if needed).
3. Equipment & Ingredients – Teams must bring their own pots, burners, seasonings, and ingredients (unless specified otherwise).
4. Crawfish Supply – Lambeau’s will provide 40lbd of crawfish. 

Cooking & Judging Rules:

1. Time Limit – Teams have a set time (e.g., 2-3 hours) to prepare and boil their crawfish.
2. Seasoning & Add-Ins – Teams can use their own seasonings and add-ins (e.g., corn, potatoes, sausage), but no pre-cooked or pre-marinated crawfish.
3. Cooking Methods – Traditional boiling is required; no grilling, frying, or steaming unless stated otherwise.
4. Judges – Special Guests will be our judge, the Team with most tickets wins.

Judging Criteria:

1. Flavor – Bold, well-balanced flavor with a good level of spice.
2. Texture – Crawfish should be tender and juicy, not overcooked or mushy.
3. Appearance – Bright red shells and well-presented platters.
4. Peelability – Shells should come off easily.
5. Creativity – Unique seasoning blends or side items can be a bonus.

Additional Rules:

1. Fair Play – No outside help from non-team members during cooking.
2. Clean-Up – Teams must clean their cooking area after the contest.
3. Disqualification – Teams can be disqualified for undercooked/unsafe food, excessive rule violations, or unsportsmanlike behavior.
4. Keep the event fun and friendly—anyone causing drama gets put on crawfish-peeling duty!
5. Wrist bands will be handed out to have access to All You can Eat
